Pigeon Pose – Eka Pada Rajakapotasana
In this video, we work in to Pigeon Pose (Eka Pada Rajakapotasana).
Pigeon pose is one of my favourite yoga poses. It’s a strong pose working deeply into the hips and thighs. Theres a lot going on within the body once we’re in it, it focusses the attention to the breath as we find length in the the spine whilst also having a subtle back bend.
This hip opening pose is wonderful at working the hips, back and thighs – a great pose if you’ve been sat down for a long period of time.
As you practice, focus on the breath and allow this to deepen and relax into pigeon pose!
